Tuxedo Labs has released a new update for Teardown, their hit voxel-based sandbox puzzle and action game. This update includes a host of new features, gameplay changes and fixes.
One of the biggest new additions is the ability to create custom levels. This will allow players to create their own unique challenges to share with others. There are also new tools and blocks available to use in custom levels, giving players even more options for creativity.
Another major addition is the ability to play Teardown in virtual reality. This will allow players to really immerse themselves in the game's destructible environments. VR support is currently only available for the HTC Vive, but Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR support are planned for a future update.
The latest update to Teardown introduces a new game mode called "Survival". In Survival mode, players must complete a set of objectives within a time limit. If the player completes all the objectives before the time runs out, they will be awarded a star. The player must then complete the next set of objectives to earn another star. The goal is to earn as many stars as possible before the time limit expires.
In addition to the new Survival mode, the latest update also introduces a number of gameplay fixes and improvements.
There are also a number of smaller changes and additions, such as new sound effects, improved performance and bug fixes. For the full list of changes, check out the patch notes on the Teardown website.
If you're yet to try Teardown, now is the perfect time to jump in. With its unique physics-based gameplay, destructible environments and wealth of customisation options, it's a game that everyone should check out.
